Fan in training

I am tring to find the location to edit the welcom text for the point store.

Tonight was spent using the help Eric gave me and revising the text for every occurrence of the words "point points and point-store" Success was only partial. I have searched and can't find where to edit the welcome section of the point store index.php?page=pointstore and last (I hope) the text on this same page that says "admin has 40 points to spend". I am thankful for any specific help offered but I would be even more grateful if some one could explain how I might be learn to find things like this on my own. Also is there an easy way to find all instances of a word or phrase and know where they can be edited?
Thanks Joe

Admin Zone search, top right of Admin Zone. Put "points to spend" in there, which is the bit that is static.
Alternatively on each screen in the dropdown in the footer there's an option to translate the language strings that appeared on that screen.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
