In the past I've used eFiction and that is great but it's getting old now and development appears to have stopped (The owner/developer hasn't logged into the forums since December 2011). Would I be able to accomplish the same thing with ocPortal? |

Demo for me to compare with but by reading the basic features I strongly feel you'll find ocPortal does what you need and probably to a greater degree. I am confident you've found something better than that will do more for you than efiction did. Give it a whirl and just ask for help when you need it there are lots of users on here that are ready to help. |

For forum integration, is their support, either out of the box or by a mod, for vBulletin 4. I did do a quick search but couldn't find anything. |

I just thought I should add that another reason to consider using ocPortals built in forum system instead of another is because there has been talk of discontinueing support for other Forum Integrations as they are not being utilized enough to warrant continued develpment support. What this could mean if this happens is you will be tied to older versions of ocPortal as it moves forward (unless of course you hire someone or code yourself any changes required to keep the integration current). That said though ocPortal does also have importers built for many of the common forum softwares and other CMS's so if you already had a user base under vBulletin or something you could import them and your posts into ocPortals own forum system. |

I'm in the UK - Is there anything for ocPortal (default or mod) to help me comply with that god awful stupid cookie law? |

If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |
