I am using 4.2 RC1 and love it. I did the fixes Chris posted in the topic for it and everything appears to be working well except for picture uploads to the gallery or for an avatar.

I get this error.

An error occurred when loading this screen onto the web browser. You are being notified of this as you are staff. If you believe this is a bug in the website software, please contact ocProducts with full details. More details are available in your browser's error console. The error was:

1367: txtFileName is null /themes/default/templates_cached/EN/javascript_swfupload.js After I close that box another appears that simply say internal error. Close that one and a message appears under the upload box that says file rejected….

Have you checked file permissions?

Thanks for the reply kgw

I just went through all the permissions and I did forget to set permissions for my custom theme. I believe they are all right now but it is still doing the same. I can't find /themes/default/templates_cached/EN/javascript_swfupload.js …so that must be the problem

Now I am really puzzled. I have a few themes I made just using the wizard. Some of them have a lot of files in templates_cached/EN/ And some, including the default only have /index.html

This is almost certainly a bug. A new release with countless bug fixes should come soon.

FYI the templates_cached/EN directories are full of autogenerated files, and they appear when templates are used and disappear when caches are emptied. You can just delete the files in them, they'll just get auto-created again. They only fill up if a theme is being actively used.

Hi,

I remember now this was indeed a bug we have fixed for RC2.
