This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occured during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occuring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occured before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.

Hi

I was wondering are you using Version 3.1.3 because that is the current vesion and a lot bug fixes where corrected in that version.  Chris will have to answer the question that you have above.

Take care

Well, I'm trying to follow the instructions.  They say that I need to do it incrementally.  So once I get this upgrade done I'll upgrade to 3.1.3

Hi,

I can't see what would cause this, but I do remember something similar a long time ago.
It should be safe to upload the latest patch files, and jump straight to the latest version - as we don't make database changes in patch releases.

Hopefully that will fix it in some way, but let us know if it doesn't.

Well, it seems to be working and the Admin Zone reports 3.1.3 as the current version.  I'm still getting the PHP error though.  I'll let you know if anything new comes up and thanks for the advice.

Oh, I just realised what the problem is. Change lines 515-522 of sources/zones.php to:

Code

   $pages=find_all_pages($zone,'modules','php',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'modules_custom','php',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'comcode/'.get_lang(),'txt',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'comcode_custom/'.get_lang(),'txt',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'html/'.get_lang(),'htm',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'html_custom/'.get_lang(),'htm',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'minimodules','php',$keep_ext_on);
   $pages+=find_all_pages($zone,'minimodules_custom','php',$keep_ext_on);
(the old lines are similar, but have array_merge in them).

It's because you have a Comcode page with a numeric name (e.g. '123').

Hi,

Make sure you re-run the upgrade database thing, and at the end it'll tell you to upgrade OCF. You've just found why it's needed ;).

Heh.  I must have been posting my new problem about the time you put up the solution.  I try it when I get home and let you know how it goes.

Do you have any Comcode pages that are named as numbers?

Please also try changing line 575 of sources/zones.php to:

Code

   return find_all_pages($zone,'modules')+find_all_pages($zone,'modules_custom');

The problem here is that basically PHP is being buggy. It doesn't combine lists right when numbers are involved.

Thanks Alot!  That seems to have done it.

I am curious about something I noticed though.  I run a Dark theme and prior to this upgrade the post box for the forums was white with black text and then converted to fit the theme when posted.  Now the box shows up as black with the theme's text color.  I don't care.  It works fine but I wasn't sure if it was intended or not.

I'm not sure about this - nothing comes to mind.
