The server could not put your uploaded file where it needs to be.

How did this happen?

This could be caused by a number of problems:
  1. There is a permission problem on the upload temporary directory.
  2. There is a permission problem on the target directory.
  3. There is an 'open_basedir' restriction in place that does not allow access to the upload temporary directory.

How do I fix it?

First check the permissions on your target directory. There are tools in the upgrader script to check and repair permissions.
You can access the upgrader by calling up the '/upgrader.php' URL on your site.

If you still have not been able to solve the problem contact your web host and ask them to investigate for you.
