Hi,

One of my forum members has a thread that is 37 pages long - this was imported from Raven Nuke.

It looks like Raven Nuke was a little less strict that ocP over spurious tags.

The original poster on the thread used two sets of img tags around every url and therefore ocP will not display the images.

Ok, so I have been through the pages editing and correcting the tags.

However there are two posts that ocP will not let me edit to correct the img tags:

View topic: My Rivage Restoration - The Mk1 Golf Owners Club

and

View topic: My Rivage Restoration - The Mk1 Golf Owners Club

I just get:
"You have gone to an URL which requires 'posted' data to be sent (post), as well as the information in the URL itself. This is most likely because you have copied and pasted a link to a new browser window, but the page the link was for was a results page for an action."
and a big red warning triangle.

Anyone else had this issue and know how to resolve it ?

Cheers
Ade

Ah, I've just fixed this for you.

The word filter was triggering on the post he already made, which for an obscure reason was being treated as being re-posted back onto the edit screen.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
