Hi guys,

Just found ocportal and i think this is a great cms! (especially the ability to install it on my servers without having to download anything!)

I have been playing around the test site and I just can't figure this out…

I want to be able to add and remove different items in the menu on the left of the pages - logged in as admin and did this thinking the changes would be carried to all other users but no that didnt work.

Made some test users but of course they dont have the permissions to modify the menus.

I guess the way i will do it (depending on responses) is to allow the different test users the ability to modify the menu, then remove this option when the site goes live… but surely there is a way to do this as admin without all the buggering around?

Hi! There is a checkbox for every menu item entitled "Only display link if there is permission". If this is checked, the whatever user group you'd like to see this menu item will need to have permissions set in the permissions tree editor to allow visiblity/access.

Hope this helps!
