Hi,

Screenshots would help here.

The second paste is the code behind the WYSIWYG editor. I am wondering if you are:
  1. pasting it from the WYSIWYG editor code view (it should look like this in there)
  2. pasting it from before the WYSIWYG error loads (maybe there was a problem with the editor loading)
  3. pasting it from the frontend site and it somehow did not get converted back when the WYSIWYG was saved

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Hi,

How did it get to this state? Did the WYSIWYG load wrongly, then you saved and it corrupted?

Have you tried reverting the page (revisions are at the bottom of the editing screen)?

Does the WYSIWYG always load wrongly, or was it a one-off?

That screenshot is correct. The WYSIWYG editor shows some Comcode tags as buttons. But when you save it is supposed to save it as normal Comcode. Are you sure if you saved this, it would still fail?

To be clear, this was an IE10 issue, and IE10 is not formally released yet. It's available early to people who have Windows 8 prior to Window 8's formal release.

Once a page is saved with CKEditor not having loaded properly, it would show corrupt on any browser until restored.
