Trying to edit the left menus on start page.
Whatever i change in the menu (change an entry, add an entry, …), when I click on Edit menu button, I get a blank page with a little "ok" at the top. Refresh brings same, ctrl/alt/shift also. Back button sends back to menu edit page, back once more opens start page, with old menu.
Anyone had this before ?

Edit.
Does this when i click the edit button next to menu on start page.
From admin zone/structure/menu management  it works.

what browser are you using?
I have seen this when the browser is pulling up a cached page that is not all there.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

What URL is the edit link on the start page giving you, and what URL are you using when you get there from the admin zone?

from the start page, it opens

Code

http://jumpseat.org/baseforumtest/ocpjps/adminzone/index.php?page=admin_menus&type=edit&id=main_features&redirect_url=http%3A%2F%2Fjumpseat.org%2Fbaseforumtest%2Focpjps%2Fsite%2Findex.php%3Fpage%3Dstart&wide=1&clickable_sections=0

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

That's what I get when I edit a menu from the start page
(any menu, and any kind of change. Even with no changes, click edit, this comes up.)
Previous page brings back to menu edit screen, previous again to start page.
Doesn't freeze the thing, nor send error messages.

Menu editing from admin zone works fine, so this isn't a blocking issue.

This is truly a bizarre one. Please attach the HTML code for the page (available from the 'View' menu on IE, then the 'Source' option). You can post it between Comcode 'codebox' tags so that it displays properly…

[codebox]
paste HTML
[/codebox]

Don't worry, menu edit still works fine from the admin zone.
No big deal…

no.
edit menu links (anyone of them, anywhere in the site) open the edit page normally, and when edit is clicked (modification or no modification made) it just opens a white page with a little ok on top.
can't be an ocp bug since i have 3 sites running ocp, it's the only one doing it.

anyway, menus can still be edited from the admin zone, so no big deal.

Well-settled

Try using another browser, Firefox for example
 ;)

Coming Soon: Syntyx Community (http://syntyx.net)

Syntyx Community will be a software community. Current projects include PCAno (Virtual Piano) and XCryptoTool (Extremely Secure File Encryption Software).

Website will be powered by ocPortal, of course ;)

First thing I did.
Not a pb with browsers, the page source is just empty, nothing in it except "ok"  :P
Probably my friendly ghost playing tricks again, nevermind. Just an extra click to get to the menu editor via the admin zone, I can live with that.

Perhaps it's something done by some extra security software your hosts have installed? Such things have caused problems in the past.
