Hi :)
I have checked the 'Closed site' box on the 'configuration-site' page in adminzone as I don't want my site to be viewable while I construct it. It works. My welcome page is coming along well, i made a banner for it that i attached as a jpg in an attachment tag in comcode. I want to do the same thing for my closed site page, just this banner above the text box, the text box that you have the option of editing in configuration/site such as saying "hi my website is underconstruction" etc. usually when editing a page you can just login as adminstrator, go to that page in the site, not in the adminzone, and click at the bottom where it says edit page. it's just that you can't go to that page (index.php?page=start&redirected=1) and do that because if you are logged in then you won't be redirected there anyway. I had a look in site tree editor to find the page and/or module involved and couldn't find it. I could maybe make a new theme and try and embed the banner jpg at the top there and then set my welcome pages in that new theme but, if you can help me find where i should edit the page instead. Thanks :D

Just add the comcode you want to the CLOSED_SITE template.

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

Smashing, thanks again temp1024. I haven't looked into styling templates yet, I have now. Well not styling templates. so far I just put an image tag into the template comcode. Now to find where the css is in ocportal and get my head round the big picture a little more. one day at a time i think they say! :D thanks for keeping me moving
