Clicking a product picture gets me a 404

Maybe I caused this somehow, but if you create a product with an image upload, the thumbnail appears, but when you click on the thumbnail, it does not come up in the resulting dialog.

And when you click in the dialog for a full screen version, it comes up with a 404 error.

Did I break this? Or is this a common error?

I haven't found it here on the forum anywhere...

I was able to duplicate the problem you are having, and it appears to me that it's a directory permissions issue, not necessarily a bug with OCP.

The full error message states:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /uploads/catalogues/silver.jpg on this server.

I would suggest that you check the permissions you have set on your uploads directory, that would probably be the culprit based on the error.

Also, make sure you have the application permissions configured properly for that specific catalog in the permissions tree editor.

Looking into this now. We may have accidentally broken it a while back when we raised catalogues attachment security (when we realised people were using them for high-security things).

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Ah thanks. So I'm not crazy. I checked the permissions on my server (and the uploaded files) and they are 644 like they should be.

Thanks for checking into it.
