Hi gang, I have a mailing that goes out every Tuesday night that I set up to pipe what's new to the site.  It is sending out everything instead of a summary like I thought it would so I need to delete it.  However, I can't seem to find it.  I'm not seeing it in the calendar scheduling like I thought I would, and the only place I'm finding it is in the Newsletter archive.  Where do I go to find this mailing and delete it and stop it from being mailed any longer?

Hi,

I'd have to admit this is a little confusing.

Go to Admin Zone, Tools, Newsletters. Go to the "Send out/schedule issue: New content" icon. The final field is a drop-down and lets you choose to delete previously saved periodic issues. When using that ignore all other fields, change the drop-down to delete the one you want deleted, then activate the Next button.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
