Displays current day as 'Today'?

I rewrote the welcome block with a custom welcome and I was thinking of adding the date and time, but when I add the Tempcode tag in the welcome block, the current day is displayed as 'Today' instead of displaying the actual day of the week (e.g. Monday). How can I fix this?

lol. Nevermind my previous post - it seems you cannot post Tempcode on the forums (or at least, I can't). :P

You currently can't do this. I'll add it so that you can do the following in the next patch release…

Code

{$FROM_TIMESTAMP,l}

New sources/symbols.php file attached…

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
