Where's it At???

I've gone brain dead. Cannot find this member listing page styling:
wanta change background from #ffffff to my background image, or transparent, and I cannot locate the css for the block. Is this deploying in an iframe?
Version 8.1.3
page ref is  ~...page=members&type=misc.

duh.

Hey Mike,

I think you may be looking for this in global.css:

/*
=========================
======Global Layout======
=========================
*/

/* Consider .website_body as 'body': it is just we cannot put our styles directly on body because sometimes this gets used in things we should not mess with such as the WYSIWYG editors frame (which is #htmlarea) and e-mails */
body.website_body {
   padding: 0 !important;
   color: {$GET,slightly_seeded_text};
   background: {$GET,main_background};
}
body.website_body.frame {
   background: transparent; /* Don't assume too much for a frame, it may be nested inside a box for example */
}
Don't forget these are 'global' changes and may well affect other areas of display that you may not necessarily want.

The 'frame' is already transparent, so commenting-out the background property or changing it to 'transparent' will get you the display you want for your Members page, but it could affect other areas dramatically!

I guess it is 'suck-it-and-see' time! Good luck.

 :o

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Thanks Fletch, but nearest I can find in my global.css is under global interface
"Consider .re_body as 'body': it is just we cannot put our styles directly on body because sometimes this gets used in things we should not mess with such as the WYSIWYG editors frame (which is #htmlarea) and e-mails"

Code

.re_body {
    padding: 0 !important;
    color: #000000;
    background: #ffffff;
}

{+START,IF,{$CONFIG_OPTION,fixed_width}}{+START,IF,{$NOT,{$MOBILE}}}
    #main_website {
        background-color: #e3eaf6 !important;
And commenting out either of the two backgrounds here apparently made no difference, after cleaning caches, and browser caches.... I think I'd tried that 2 or three times previously
What I'd like to get rid of is that white box at https://opusunita.us/index.php?page=members&type=misc
I was wondering if this might be part of the OCF styling, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks, Harry... but tried that. Matter of fact, it's set transparent right now...
'Member's block still white... https://opusunita.us/index.php?page=members&type=misc
Cleaned all the caches, and browser caches also...

Haven't got a handle on this one, yet. Know it's there somewhere.

Cheers!

A-HAH!
Found it: Global CSS... about line 423

Code

.fake_middle_continuation, #main_website #body_inner {
    background-color: #ffffff;

Now we'll go from there.
Don't know why it was so hard for me to see the element and style. Old, I guess.
sheesh!

Cheers!

My BAD!

You clearly mentioned 8.1.3 and I happily gave you version 9.0 (fortunately Harry was a bit more 'switched-on').

Arggghhhhhhh!

Sorry about that, but glad you hunted down the little bleeder.

Congrats.

For future reference, there are interactive tools you can use to find the css of a given element by simply moving your mouse over the element.

In ocPortal, you can use the "Contenxtual css editor" admin tool. Accessible from the down down menu at the bottom right of your page.

In Chrome/IE you can use the developers tools. Accessible by pressing f12.

And in Firefox you can install the firebug addon.
