Hi,

I have added to an old thread about raven nuke import about this.

But it might be more generic - hence a new post.

I think that the problem may be a change to some functions in V9.0.1. ?

I am using Ducks Raven Nuke importer that worked (with some tweaks) for a V8 import - I need help to debug it to make it work for V9.x

I get a stack trace when trying to import the members - 24,000 have imported from when it was at V8, I have another 780 to bring in with a second pass - it dumps when trying to make the first new member.

It is complaining that the password of the user is longer that 20 characters - I know it is not becausue I have changed it to make sure.

It is coming down to the function call ocf_check_name_valid in sources/ocf_members_action2.php
Line 1254 is bailing out - can anyone tell me why ?

Cheers,
Ade

Removed stack trace as it contained a member hash.

IIRC the ocf_make_member function has a parameter that specifies the password is already hashed and hence not to rehash it, but I can't be sure off-hand.

Ah yes, it is close to what I said. Looking at the code…

The $check_correctness parameter should be passed as false.

If $salt and/or $password_compatibility_scheme is non-blank then the password is assumed pre-hashed.

Thanks for that Chris.

Comparing the importers call and the V9 Function definition, there are a lot of extra parameters.
Have a lot of changes happen in this area ?

function
ocf_make_member($username,$password,$email_address,$groups,$dob_day,$dob_month,$dob_year,$custom_fields,$timezone=NULL,$primary_group=NULL,$validated=1,$
join_time=NULL,$last_visit_time=NULL,$theme='',$avatar_url=NULL,$signature='',$is_perm_banned=0,$preview_posts=0,$reveal_age=1,$title='',$photo_url='',$
photo_thumb_url='',$views_signatures=1,$auto_monitor_contrib_content=NULL,$language=NULL,$allow_emails=1,$allow_emails_from_staff=1,$personal_notes='',$
ip_address=NULL,$validated_email_confirm_code='',$check_correctness=true,$password_compatibility_scheme=NULL,$salt='',$zone_wide=1,$last_submit_time=NULL,$id=
NULL,$highlighted_name=0,$pt_allow='*',$pt_rules_text='')

ocf_make_member($row['username'],$password,$row['user_email'],NULL,$bday_day,$bday_month,$bday_year,$custom_fields,strval($row['user_timezone']),$primary_group,
$validated,$joindate,$row['user_lastvisit'],'',$avatar_url,$signature,(!is_null($row['ban_id']))?1:0,$preview_posts,$reveal_age,$title,$photo_url,$
photo_thumb_url,$views_signatures,$track_posts,$language,$row['user_allow_pm'],'','','',false,$type,$salt,1);

Cheers,
Ade

Not a lot of changes, but some. You can probably get an idea by running Winmerge between the v8 sources/hooks/modules/admin_import/ocp_merge.php and the v9 version of the same file.
