My site huberresidents.org crashed the other day.  The link on the error page will allow me to sign into the edit installation options page but I can't figure out what to do there.  Here is an excerpt.  Google chrome has a very long summary that tells me the data from the table is still there - (not reproduced but available if it helps).  The website just isn't rendered.

Critical error – bailing out

This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occurred during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occuring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occurred before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.
Unfortunately a query has failed [SELECT COUNT(*) FROM oc_stats WHERE date_and_time>1387379370 LIMIT 1] [Table './tfmpub5_ocpo928/oc_stats' is marked as crashed and should be repaired] (version: 9.0.9, PHP version: 5.3.27, URL: /index.php)

Details here are intended only for the website/system-administrator, not for regular website users.
» If you are a regular website user, please let the website staff deal with this problem.

Depending on the error, and only if the website installation finished, you may need to edit the installation options (the info.php file).

ocProducts maintains full documentation for all procedures and tools. These may be found on the ocPortal website. If you are unable to easily solve this problem, we may be contacted from our website and can help resolve it for you.

If you were hoping for a 'quick' solution from the developer(s), see View topic: Christmas hours - ocPortal.com which, at this time of the year, doesn't appear at all unreasonable.

I hesitate to suggest this (in case you've already exhausted this option), but try attacking the 'failed/crashed' table directly with phpMyAdmin, and see if a straightforward 'repair' query fixes the problem.

I've had similar 'problems' in the past, and running a repair query has usually fixed the issue.

Good luck.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Maybe its something exactly like this: View topic: Table 'xxx' is marked as crashed and should be repaired - ocPortal.com

When I select the view all from the members blog on the right side menu of my website huberresidents.org I get an error.  I have attempted to clean up using the OCportal tools and the php repair from my hosting company.

An error has occurred

Chris,

I ran the file found at:  hotfix-1506, 2014-01-09 7pm.tar [^] (122,880 bytes) 2014-01-09 14:06

This went smooth but did not fix the problem.

I attempted to use: Fixed in git commit e037ce5 (https://github.com/chrisgraham/ocPortal/commit/e037ce5 [^] - link will become active once code pushed)

This produced an error by itself:

Critical error - bailing out

SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

Integrity check

If you think this problem could be due to corruption caused by a failed upgrade (e.g. time-out during extraction), check the following integrity check…

These files are actually missing and need uploading (you can find them in the manual installer ZIP for the version you're running):
-uploads/auto_thumbs/.htaccess
-uploads/auto_thumbs/index.html

These files do not match the ones bundled with your version, but claim to be newer (so these might be bug fixes someone has put here):
-sources/attachments.php
-sources/comcode_renderer.php

Oh sorry about that, the fix didn't work. It was a speculative fix based on automated report, but I can see how it was wrong. Please try again, I've re-uploaded. Specifically sources/comcode_renderer.php is replaced.

I don't know what happened regarding the SSL error. I don't think it is directly related – perhaps somehow a file was replaced incorrectly, but I can't see what would trigger it.

This is happening on at least two of my pages. http://huberresidents.org/index.php?page=news&type=view&id=huber-heights-city_2%2Fcouncil-meeting-real&filter=1%2C8%2C9%2Cpersonal  and http://huberresidents.org/index.php?page=news&type=view&id=huber-heights-city_2%2Fward-locator-ward-map&filter=1%2C8%2C9%2Cpersonal

Have you seen this before?  I create a page with tables and it looks good for a couple days.  Then it deletes the table format.  When it does this it drops the pictures but leaves the text in straight text form.  To correct all I have to do it hit edit page, when the edit page comes up everything is correct.  I hit save then the page looks good for a couple days.
Here is how one of the pages looked when I opened it a couple minutes ago:
This is how it corrected to after I opened the edit page and hit save:

If you want to see a page that is missing the pictures in the normal view but still has them in the edit go to:  Income Tax Levy .25% instead of .35% but what's the cost? - HuberResidents.org

If I were to going into the edit page and saving would fix the problem for awhile.
Here is a screen shot of what the edit page looks like.  You can see the picture in the edit page.  If I were to hit save it would fix the problem and the "TIF Fund" picture would again appear on the webpage.  Of course I don't want to be going in to every webpage and re-saving every couple of days.

If you have upgraded to ocPortal 9.0.13 and haven't applied any hotfixes, check out this hotfix:

Thanks Jason

I think I was able to apply.  I guess I'll know in a couple of days if things start disappearing again.

Thanks again

I just upgraded to 14.  I tried to upload a .png file to the media library.  Upon clicking on Upload the page moved the status bar as if it were  uploading.  However, when it was done it reverted back to showing the file name and my description.  The file would not load.  I've tried a number of times.
