Is it possible to copy the the entire forum from one site to another.

I have Administrator right on the one site but not the site that the information is on. What we would like to do if be able to copy selected topic in full from the old site

Any ideas what can be done. The old site is a members site and will require a user name and password - Both of which I have.

Thank you for your help in this matter

I don't see how it's easily possible without access to the database itself.

(I guess you could create some kind of script that could trawl the topic(s) and transpose that information into ocPortal somehow, but that's beyond the scope of ocPortal itself currently, and would require some intelligent programming as some kind of Addon…)

If I've helped you, please click 'points' and show your appreciation!

Have you tried an RSS feed for that forum, so to have it post on OP then have it rss fed to the forum that you would also like to see it in , in another named forum???

I would think that would work in a situation where you do not have access or rights to- OP- another database.
