Hi there!

I'm still new around here and first I'd like to thank people who create ocP and support it's development. OcP gives me great chance to create my own website with functionalities I wish allthough I don't know much about programming. It's great, thank you!

I had a break in making my site so I had major upgrading to do. First I upgraded from version 6.1.1 to 7 and then to 7.1.3. After that when I leave cursor on links (for instance in admin zone pg tools or cms pg cms) I started to get prewiew: "a block file is missing: main_content (sources/blocks/main_content.php or an overridden equivalent to this path)" written in red.

I checked, that file really is missing. It is missing also in backup which I made before upgrading, but I got no warnings before. I haven't deleted any files manually, could I loose it by uninstalling addons? And do I need it?

It's a bug we've found in recent versions, you can workaround it by installing the awards addon.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Thanks, awards worked.

But upgrader has a problem with it. Before installing awards addon upgraders error correction part had a button labeled  "manage addons: you have 2 addons that may need replacing/disabling/removing". Now there's 3. Should I worry about it?
