I really would love to have the comments box and comments for the cedi mainly do to the cedi being setting up to the way I want except for the ability to soft topics but thats ok.
Its just that the catalogues could do what I want but but would take a whole lot more template editing to get them to look like the cedi specially where it comes to pages and posts which I like the way the cedi is set up for that.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

I'm a bit confused by this requirement, Amy.

I assume you've tried several combinations and are still not satisfied with the outcome, however, here's what I've done. It works for me, and it appears to be what you're after:

1. Set up a 'root' CEDI page - possibly with an explanation of how your users should use the feature, etc. etc.
2. Make each 'topic' or 'subject' a 'child' page of the root.
3. Further sub-topics can be built and attached to each 'child' page.

All 'child' pages get the comment box by default.

Any help?

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

No worries maybe I can edit the template of the cedi to have the comments or I can edit out the go to botton on the catagloues.
