This might be a dumb question…

I have a test domain for creating my themes before I export them and move them into the domains they are meant for. For one particular theme, I needed to do test news articles, galleries, and downloads to see how it fits the theme.

Here's the question now… :P

Is there a quick way to clean the database to its original ocPortal state (no entry fields for the above tests)?
Would emptying the fields from those particular tables via phpMyAdmin mess things up?

I'd rather not have to reinstall ocPortal. I can easily remove themes from the test domain and set it back to Default and create new ones as needed.

Well-settled

Yes,
You have to reinstall OCP and make a backup of the database and when needed drop everything and import from the back up. I can't see another way.
That's how I would do it. BUT?

If you put install.php back from the manual installer you can re-run it on the same files and it has the effect of wiping the DB. I know you said no reinstalling but it's quick, I do it all the time during development.

Cool, thanks Chris.

By reinstalling I meant having to whipe the domain clean completely.

I always keep the install.php on the system just in case. I just rename the extension. Glad I did that now.
