I've not been around here very long.  I came on board with 9.x.x of ocPortal.  I had great experiences with updates until 9.0.8. was installed.

1. Should all hotfixes be installed as they are released?  I've been following 9.0.9 for some time.

2. When updating to 9.0.9, does this fix all known previous issues identified with 9.0.8 and earlier?

3. Will a future update, say 9.1.0, be reasonably stable in comparison to 9.0.8 and 9.0.9?

I think ocPortal is a fantastic integrated system.  Reliability and stability are very important to me.

Thanks,

Not necessarily. If you aren't experience the issue the hotfix addresses, it is my understanding and practice, that particular hotfix should not be installed due to the possibility of breaking something that isn't broken on your system.

Yes.

Yes, that's the intended purpose of the update. However, that doesn't mean that new issues won't pop up. Actually, it is my understanding the next release will be V10.

I happen to think it is the absolute best CMS on the market bar none. I don't think you'll find any CMS that is more stable and reliable. The ocProducts staff are very quick to jump on anything that goes wrong, and usually has a hotfix that very same day.
