oops, got a message when hitting the save button

I got awake this morning with a splendid idea: I gonne change my signline, well I thougth I gonna do it, but I got a message that you're system don't support this idea:
"The signature is too big for all applicable usergroups"

First I had some little changes that worked the first time, then I did try the IE8 and the FF browser on it, an empty signline, and in the end even try to hit the "edit the signline" link and save it without changing anything, but the program will not cooperate anymore, so I thougth I tell it's boss about it (it is obvious that it is not gonna like this ).

Greetings Puran.

You might want to turn the WYSIWYG editor off. The editor can end up putting all kinds of junk in there. But actually I just checked yours and it had converted cleanly, although was just under the limit.

I have trebled the limit now.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about Composr whenever you see the opportunity or support me on Patreon.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
