This past weekend I upgraded my live site to v8. Soon after I somehow managed to make my CEDI pages disappear.
The database entries appear to still be intact, but I can't find where the actual documents themselves are kept. If at all possible I would like to copy them over from my test site. Can someone tell me where those pages are stored?
I just discovered the CEDI entries are missing from db table oc_translate. Am I able to import those entries back in or will that screw up IDs in that table?
It appears importing could screw up ID's as a few of the highest Id's that were originally assigned to CEDI docs were deleted and has since been reassigned to something else.
It looks like I'll be recreating my documents by hand.
Theoretically the XML Storage admin module will allow you to export the seedy_pages and seedy_posts tables from a running v7 site, and reimport them into a v8 site. It automatically handles language strings. But it's functionality intended for developers, not very user-friendly.
If not, please let us know how we can do better (please make suggestions that are economically viable and scalable, not just requests to do more for free).
If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.

Finally had some time to try this. It appeared the export and importing went ok with no errors, but the corresponding language table entries are still missing.
I get this error. These 2 access denied stack trace entries seem odd because I am an admin and should have access. I've double checked permissions and all seem ok.
Can you give me some insight on this. Is this a bug or ???

The full stack trace output:

An error has occurred

You have turned on stack traces for all errors, via having keep_fatalistic=1 in the URL. This means that this may not actually be a fatal error, you have just asked for it to be presented as such (perhaps to help you find where it came from). Here is the stack trace:
Below is a stack trace revealing the state the software was in when the error occurred. If this represents a bug in the unmodified software, you may want to check ocPortal website for a fix, and if there isn't one, report this as a bug. Please note that merely posting a stack trace is not sufficient for us to solve your problem; the stack trace is just an aid that presents us with additional information. We still need to know the error message, what you tried to do, how you tried to do it, version numbers, and any other appropriate information. We apologise for this problem and if it's a bug we hope you will work with us so that we can fix it for you promptly.

Are you sure you're an super-admin and not a super-moderator? Only super-admins have automatic access, super-moderators have default access for new categories but those permissions weren't imported.

In Global Permissions I have all but 4 privileges ticked and those are dealing with other members personal matters and being able to delete my own account.
But, I could have very well over-ridden a permission somewhere. I'll check permissions again later today when I have more time to spend on this.
Check your usergroup, it should have super admin set in there. Super admin isn't a permission as such, it is a group setting saying the group automatically has any permission.

You might want to look into this. I have 3 sites (1 live, 2 test) I found this was changed. I know I didn't make the change as I would have no reason to. Maybe the upgrader got it's wires crossed somewhere.
