Well-settled

Just started happening this afternoon.

Whenever I try and open any topic I get this message:

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/precisio/public_html/ocp/sources/lang.php on line 864 Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/precisio/public_html/ocp/sources/lang.php on line 866 Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/precisio/public_html/ocp/sources/lang.php on line 864 Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/precisio/public_html/ocp/sources/lang.php on line 866

It was working fine earlier. I contacted my hosting provider and they said it is a coding issue.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Could you try this please?

Attachment
sources/lang.php
» Download: lang.php (46 Kb, 65 downloads so far)

I believe the language cache for that page corrupted. Emptying the language cache in Admin Zone > Tools > Cleanup Tools would fix it, but I want it to auto-recover. I also spotted the original cause and resolved in this fix.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
