Sorry :(to read about your problem Harry, but I've been themeing one of my old themes on RC3 for a few days now and I have not seen this error or anything similar for that matter. It could be that I've not used all the features also.

I couldn't reproduce this. However, there does seem to have been a problem vaguely similar to this, with some browsers handling Javascript strict mode differently, which we turned on. There have also been various fixes to the CSS editor in the RCs, I can't remember when those were done. So it might have been fixed already.

This prompted me to install Opera and do some testing. I have to say, it has got incredibly good. I used to find it pretty clunky and missing some day to day features I used, but that's all long gone and I now really love it. So I'm switching to it for a while. I think it's good for me to rotate browsers from time to time.

Regarding lost accounts, I wonder if somehow the site was on a multi-site-network, perhaps without realising, then maybe the info.php file got replaced, and now it is all running off one database again? That's my guess.

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Hi Chris,

the site was a standalone database, no network. I have found some code on the domain who not belong there. So far I could follow this, there was some chinese stuff there. The only thing I could was to remove the whole database and other oc installation.  :(

But the site is oniline again in a otherl I think better layout overall.

Harry

Oke have found the problem maker in the Opera browser, what triggered the error in the first post.  If in preferances the option: Plugins on Demand is set to on, the error comes up.!!

Set this to off and the errer message is gone. :)
