Can someone tell me how to get rid of catalogues> in the breadcrumb trail? I tried a few things with the breadcrumb override feature but nothing changed. The main catalogue page is something that really doesn't need to be seen as it's such a mixed bag of goods having Projects, FAQs, Links and any other catalog I make. I can just put the catalogs in menus.

Thanks, John

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

As you can see above, I tested, and found a bug.

However note our default rule does not remove 'Catalogues' for viewing the category index of non-tree catalogues. This is intentional. For that, you'd need another rule:

Code

   <substitution match_key="_WILD:catalogues:index">
      <link label="{!HOME}">:</link>
   </substitution>
