How do I restore main_community?

So I was playing with blocks and deleting entries to see how things worked but now that I have other blocks referring to the community block on the front page, I get the message that I am missing "main_community" menu.

It isn't clear to me what the structure of blocks should be or what the defaults were for this block because I didn't bother to make any notes.

Can someone point me to the original 3 menu items and how they were setup so I can restore this?

I've looked all over the site but main_community and block yield little in results.  Perhaps I am searching for it incorrectly?

Thank you for any help on this.

If you use the Comcode page editor to edit the panel it gives you an option to restore.
Content -> Comcode pages -> :panel_left (I guess)

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Ok thanks Chris. I wasn't looking far enough down the page on :panel_left.

I clicked restore on that and the information is back!

Thank you!
