Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

We need a lot more information if we are to start to really consider this.

Are these servers the same computer? Do these servers use the same PHP version? Do they use the same php.ini file for that PHP version? Is it the same ocPortal installation? Is it just the member list screen? Have you tried other screens also?

I am guessing the PHP memory_limit is being exceeded and that your different servers are using different php.ini files; and that the IIS one has the limit set, but the Apache one does not.

I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Please try changing lines 14-15 of sources/global2.php from:

Code

function init__global2()
{
to:

Code

function init__global2()
{
   if ((!array_key_exists('REQUEST_URI',$_SERVER)) && (!array_key_exists('REQUEST_URI',$_ENV)))
   {
      $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']=$_SERVER['PHP_SELF'];
      $first=true;
      foreach ($_GET as $key=>$val)
      {
         $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'].=$first?'?':'&';
         $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'].=urlencode($key).'='.urlencode($val);
         $first=false;
      }
   }
