Forum has gone...Surprise of the day, all links to forum pages open a blank page. The filesare still there, (I checked), database still has it all (I checked that too). Forum edit from admin panel still works fine, they're all there. But the links open a blank page. I'd love to know what can cause this… Last actions yesterday where: - add a couple of if_in group tags on start page left panel (removed them, no change) - change forum order in admin panel (restored original order, no change) Doesn't tell me i need permission, or ask me to log in, it's just blank. Nothing, no error message, blank. Any clue? |

Have you tried emptying the caches? We have very occasionally seen that cache files can get corrupted after, for example, a server crash. If that doesn't help please let me know one of these forum links leading to the blank screen. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

Something under forum (very likely index.php) seems to have got corrupted. I know this because I was able to create a redirect page and view the forum from within the welcome zone - it worked fine from there. This means the forum is fine, and the page files under the forum directory are also fine. This is why I think it's the index.php, because the redirect test I did bypassed it. I suppose another possibility is somehow the zone configuration got corrupted, but this doesn't seem to be the case as I can view the edit screen for the zone without any trouble. Additional informationIf you look at the HTML source of the blank screen, you'll see there is an error message under there coming from the web server, 500, meaning 'internal server error' - unfortunately that's not very specific, and can mean dozens of things. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. Thank you! Edit. Just for the record, this is sunday night, 01 AM, calendar reads december 24th. Where else do you get immediate support, at that time, on xmas eve? Sad all my sites are licensed, i'd have loved to take another one… You're a great bunch, hope one day you get the recognition you deserve. Have a nice one
