I know this is probably a stupid question but I need reassuring since I could find no answer in the forums. Are the adminzone and cmszone protected from crawling by search engines?

After the last two days of elation, I am absolutely paranoid about everything because it seems if it could go wrong, it has gone wrong on my site.

Thanks for any help.

Each of those zones has an .htaccess in the 'pages' folder that says …..
order deny,allow
deny from all
….. which should be sufficient?

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Yes. Crawlers can only see what guests see (or at worst regular members if the crawler owner created an account on your site for the crawler)

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

Hmmmm…..another 'duh' moment for me. I think I have not yet recovered from being rattled this morning because my site would not load so this is all Chris's fault. :P
