As I plan to soon launch the sooner I get around to knowing how to do this would be GREATLY apreciated! **know the interface is a bit much but i am at least learning my way around it… it aint too bad really!**

No problem using test although sometimes he gets overworked!!! Why not add a member (make one up), go to Admin Zone > Tools > Members to add a new one and use them to do the pre-opening dirty work of permission testing. Personally, I hate that stage but I added several test members on my site to test different levels and see my new usergroup icons look and see how the groups all interact.

Also, if you don't want to give away all the admin privileges you might want to promote the 'member' to a usergroup like Super-moderators or another staff level group that you create that has the priveliges you want that staff member to have access to and control of.

You will see when filling out the members profile near the bottom, where it says  Primary usergroup, you can specify the usergroup you want them to be in. All the best benjamin1254

Just to build on friendly's excellent guidance, a trick I use is to create one user for each group I have with the same name as the group it's in. Keeps the confusion down to a dull roar.
