Hello,

just downloaded the OS_Tube_2.1__Profesional___Community_Editon.rar and uploaded/ installed it on my server.

Now I want to add some sfw-files to the gallery.
Tried to add a swf-url to the video-gallery but keep getting the error message The referenced file is not a valid video filetype.

At the Valid file types the swf extension is present.

Is there still something that should be set?

Who can help me to solve my problem?
I realy would like to upload swf-files/urls to the video gallery.

Kind regards,

Martin

Just to rule out the obvious, the file you're uploading does have the exact extension .swf, right?

It sounds like it should be working to me too.

Our gallery does not support swf files, but it does support flv files.

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

@gabriel58,

most of them do have exactly .swf at the end. And some do have some xtra info like .swf?bgcolor=000000

@Chris Graham,
can one or more parts of the script be modified so that it can accept swf files (instead flv, ….)

Thanks

Yes it can all be modified. If you'd like ocProducts to do it please browse to the support section of our site and contact us requesting a quote.

I ended up creating separate pages for my .swf files and made it look like it's in the gallery. Just a caption image is truly in the gallery but then there's a description where you end up clicking a link from there: Portfolio: Multimedia Design - Eric DeMars . com (shameless plug)
