Since this websites to far along to upgrade to ocportal 9, i am looking for help with two issues. The first is how to change or create a colored/tinted background for the left and right column's. I want to break up the full white body of my website with slightly tinted column colors, just enough to create a contrast.

The second issue is where in the css do I change the list/bullet reference to add a stylized image in place of the default bullet? Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.

1. global.css
.standardbox_t_panel {
background-color: #yourcolor;
}
… don't forget that this will be saved as an override in your relevant "_custom" folder.

2. list/bullets
themes default images menus
You'll find a whole series of menu_bullet PNGs in that folder, and you should consider making at least three new ones to replace your nav bullets, 'bullet' 'bullet_current' and 'bullet_hover'. Don't forget to save them to the relevant "_custom" folder.

Does that help?

 :)

Take my advice. I'm not using it!
