Tried the upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.1.3 and receive a server time out due to 180 second time limit. Am I doing something wrong?

Any assistance appreciated. Thanks

Ok, my bad, figured out what I was doing to cause the time out error.

However, after doing the file integrity scan I receive a green light with the exception of the following message:

These files are actually missing and need uploading (you can find them in the manual installer zip for the version you're running):

  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/seedy_page.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/events.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/image.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/video.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/gallery.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/downloads_category.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/downloads_download.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/comcode_page.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/catalogue_category.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/catalogue_entry.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/quiz.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/news.php
  • sources/hooks/systems/meta/authors.php
How important is it I install these files?

Soccerdad has just reported the cause for this, so it's a bug - but you can ignore it unless you want to use the side_tag_cloud block. To fix it you can upload these files manually from the upgrade tar.

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
