I know how to do 2 and its some thing like this.

Code

<div style="width: 49%; float: left">[block1]</div> <div style="width: 50%; float: right">[block2]</div>
when I try it with 3 by going like this.

Code

<div style="width: 32%; float: left">block1</div>
<div style="width: 32%; float: center">blcok2</div>
<div style="width: 32%; float: right">Block3</div>
But that does not work as the last block is lower then the other 2 but still off to the right.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

float: center is invalid; you might want to try float: left instead, and see if it works then.

It should do, yes. float: left will just make the element float to the left-hand side of its container, and if you have multiple floated elements, they'll stack up in a row until they have to overflow into another row.

It might be best if you had all three elements as float: left actually.

Floating is the best way to get three things like this lined up in a row, so not really, no.
