Hi ;)

Just had this trying to upgrade to 3.2.8 (first time I have a snag when upgrading)
used mysite/force_upgrade. php method

These recoverable errors occurred during generation of this page

WARNING [2] ftp_fput() [function.ftp-fput]: Rename/move failure: No such file or directory

Code

In actual fact, a deferred error (see above) has proven critical and execution has been terminated.
Any idea ?

Hi,

At what point in the process does this problem occur?
(e.g. when running the Integrity scan, or when uploading the tar).

  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Please double check the FTP path given when you log in to force_upgrade.php is correct. If it is, please open up a ticket with FTP details and I'll take a look for you.

Had indeed forgotten the / before public_html

Sorry for the trouble. I'll hide for a week… :$

Thought it was weird, the 4 other sites updating properly and this one being rude…

Well, ocPortal's error message was far from clear.
