I did my upgrade to v9 last night and everything has gone well so far.  However, I just got the following 2 error messages when on a Links page.  Any ideas if this is a v9 bug or a configuration issue on my side?

Thanks

Old overridden template, definitely ADD_LINK will now be ADD_URL and BROWSER will now be PAGINATION.

I'm sorry Chris, is this something I need to fix by uploading a new template or something?  Or is this a bug in v9?  Sorry, I'm just not getting the point of your post.

You seem to have the old v8 templates in your install as overrides, and they're not compatible with v9.

Hmm, OK.  So does that mean I just need to go in and delete any .tpl files in the custom directories?

Sorry if I am driving you bonkers with my apparently complete lack of understanding.  But I have checked the following folders and there are no custom .tpl files there:

themes\default\templates_custom
themes\BAWiki\templates_custom

All of folders under sources_custom just have index.html and htaccess files.

I'm just not seeing any custom templates in the folders I know to check.

Is there a reference or something that tells what files to delete to ensure the new files are used?

Thanks

Ah, CATALOGUE_links_CATEGORY_SCREEN was dropped in v9 when we merged the design changes it had into the standard template. You must have a v8 CATALOGUE_links_CATEGORY_SCREEN.tpl lying around still that needs deleting, but in themes/default/templates/. I remember someone recently mentioned the integrity checker not running – if this was you then that would explain this, as the integrity checker would have picked up on the unrecognised old file.

Yes, that was me.  I did find the .tpl file you are talking about above, and whole lot more .tpl files that are still dated from May when I did my initial v8 install.

Should I try re-running the integrity checker again?  And is it safe to delete any templates that are still dated from before last night when I did the v9 upgrade?

Thank you very much for the help.

No worries Chris.  The Integrity scan ran this time and found a ton of old .tpl files that needed to be removed.  I'm not getting any errors on the links page now, so it looks like that is fixed, and hopefully any other similar issues.

Thanks again.
