Honest, I really do try to solve these on my own before posting here!!

That being said, I have a site I've built for a club and I am just about ready for them to have a look at it, however, while testing, I discovered that when a new person joins... once they've filled out the form and submitted it, the confirmation page that comes up next has a bunch of errors because it references facebook, twitter, and a whole bunch of things I don't want on there.

My question is:  I can't seem to find where I should modify the page / template / or code to remove those from that page???  I have attached a screen shot so you can see what is happening.

If someone would be so kind, I would be grateful.

Thank you in advance,

Mark

Think this was an old bug. You should find the references in global.css for your theme – just erase that lump of CSS (it looks fairly self-contained in the file).

Alternatively, reinstall recommend addon.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Chris, you're awesome.  I found the code, deleted it and ... problem solved.

Thank you VERY much for all your support.
