Clicking on "save" after changing or adding an avatar gives this…

Didn't find anything in the confirmed bugs listing.

Check the other tabs. You may have a required CPF unfilled. All the edit subtabs submit as one form.

This is effecting all members, not just one or two.

I just checked the CPF screen and according to the "# per page" drop down list there should be 46 entries on 3 pages. 14 show on the first page. Click on page 2 only gives 4 entries and clicking on page 3 gives no results. If I try changing the # per page it always stays the same, 14 and 4.

Also, I'm unable to change the ordering of the fields and there are two #11.

Looking at the db there are 46 fields. I have no idea what is going on.

It can often be the case that an admin can add a new CPF that is set to required, but obviously no one has it set yet. So as soon as the profile is edited, that then needs to be entered for any save operation to complete.

It may not be the case, but please check over other tabs in case it is.

That said, I see I still have access. So I'll go test that now.

Regarding your CPF editing, the hotfix I am about to post will cover this one. I am assuming there is some bug in the code relating to re-ordering failing when CPFs are not shown. That seems very likely. If reordering is still broken let me know.

I think I found the culprit. Its a data type "multiple values chosen from a list". That CPF was working before the 8.1.1 upgrade. Now it won't keep any changes and the values are missing from the profile pages.

I'll test the hotfix and report back shortly.

The CFP screen. It's getting better. It's now showing all fields but everything else remains the same:
  • # per page still not working correctly
  • all 46 fields are on two pages but still showing three pages available
  • still unable to sort fields

I just tried and was able to change it from an URL loaded one to a default avatar. Then I tried changing back to me original URL loaded one but received that message again. I then tried to upload one but received the same message.

It appears the data type is now working. Did/could the hot fix have anything to do with this? Or are the ocP elves at it again? :)

All the CPFs I've added are present and account for. No empty fields.

The original issue here is because of the second hotfix posted to 0000609: Radio button data type not honoring the "Required" flag. - ocPortal feature tracker being needed. Can't remember if I communicated this existed or not at the time!
