Good question. At Chris's suggestion, I took a look at clockingit.com. It looks very suitable for what we are doing. I have already set up an account and had a bit of a play using some of the outline. I will try to have this all in place by Monday, if possible. Bob |

My main concerns are file collaboration and task tracking which it seems to have. As a hosted application it has both advantages and disadvantages to us but I think at this point it is maybe a good idea to go with hosted as it is one less chore for us to do in setting up a self managed system. I like it so far. |

If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

I was pleasantly surprised after taking a look at Clocking IT based on Chris's suggestion. It seems to have good collaboration tools with both forums and chat for users, and all the tools needed to manage a project. I am thinking of adding a "Guest" user with read-only access so that other forum members can take a look at what's on our plate and maybe decide to pitch in. At the very least, it creates the transparency I envision for the project. Bob |
