Good for making a hash of a password to add to DB manually.I made it cause on various sites I use different hashing mechanisms and occaisionly I forget some passwords and want to manually change it in the DB and figured why not making something a little more useful that others could use too. It's free so do what you want with it. I wasn't sure if the Addons repository here accepts standalone scripts useful for ocPortal ( after all I intend to use it to reset my materpassword on onesite already lol) or only ocPortal integrated addons? If you guys want to I can add it here (or you can) if not people can still get from here at least for now. The site it's on won't be open for a couple months likely and when it does it is possible the location will move (I'll update if it does) Screenshot

If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

I can see why you're ecstatic, Jean. You managed to get 'Pass3Hash, while the rest of us had to make do with Pass2! (… see the comment against the points awarded!) |

This is quite funny Fletch! Yes, at times my mind is not synchronized with my writing…Let's attribute this to age! |

I am also discovering it is the 'magic formula' to NOT doing something I should. And it feels good when the younger macho males in the family refuse to allow me to carry heavy suitcases 'n' stuff. Yeah! This 'old-age-retirement' stuff has certainly got its advantages, although Maria has coined a mnemonic for it, FAS (Freaking Age Syndrome - substitute your own expletive for the first word!), for when it gets us down. |
