I installed the ocBestbuddy addon. However, I cannot seem to locate the Mentor Usergroup. Am I missing a step to getting this configured?

Take a look in the configuration, I would guess there's an option appeared there to select what group is the mentor usergroup.

Yeah that's what I thought.  I cannot find anything anywhere indicating a Mentor usergroup.

When I search in the Admin Zone for Mentor it gives me the following….

(Located in Style > Translate website content > global)

But there is NO usergroup, so should I create this usergroup?  I thought this addon created it's own.

Load up http://yoursite/data_custom/ocbestbuddy_install.php

That should have been automatic when you added the addon though. Or did you install manually via untarring the file?

The option does show up in the admin zone search when installed.

I believe we installed it manually by untarring the file, but I'll need to get my Tech Admin to join this discussion…

Ummm, I've installed it several times normally, not manually, but apparently something goes wrong and it doesn't modify the admin zone, even when it shows the add-on properly installed…

However!! I check it out today and in the installation it says "This addon depends on the following addons, which are not installed: OCF. You should install these before continuing…."
The version of OCPortal is currently 5.0.3. and it does have the forum installed…

What can it be?

You're right, two bugs here. However manually calling up the URL I mentioned above will work around it.

We're changing the wording of that error to:
This addon depends on the following addons, which are not detected as installed: <strong>{1}</strong>. You should make sure you have these before continuing, although you can continue without them at your own risk. It may be that some of the dependencies listed are actually not proper addon names and just there for your guidance, so if you know you're compatible with what's listed proceed.

And the install script was not called up like it should have been.
