Activity tab breaks if syndication not stopped before going to another page.

I'm not sure if this has been fixed, or if this is perhaps a bug. They only way the problem is corrected is by using the admin feature to switch to the user or yourself to disable syndication. I'm not sure how to obtain the latest versions of Facebook or the twitter addons. Other than that loving ocPortal.

Please describe exactly what is happening…
Is the browser freezing? Does the layout corrupt? Does the tab not select? Does it lock out selection of other tabs?
I remembered what the problem is, it's a past bug…

This is my bad, for not updating the addon in a while. This is an old bug which would have had a hotfix at some point, but too long ago to be worth digging out. I've just updated the addon, and the particular faulty file is.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
