Is it possible to have an addon that once you customised your webpage you could change the font and text colour without having to troll through the ccs file?

I don't know about making an addon for it, since that would have to work properly for every site it's installed on, however if you're making your own theme then there's nothing stopping you from specifying things like fonts and colours in a separate CSS file (for example themes/yourtheme/css_custom/custom_colours.css) and loading that for every page by specifying it in the header. You can do that by editing the HEADER.tpl file and putting {$CSS_INCLUDE,custom_colours} just after the <head> tag (but put your file's name, if it's not called custom_colours.css).

Of course, what you put in such a CSS file, and how you would force it to override the rest of the CSS (maybe delete all font-family and color properties from the theme's CSS, or copy them all out into your new file?) would be up to you, and would be a VERY long process. Unfortunately I'm not massively knowledgeable about the way CSS overrides itself. As far as I'm aware, the more specific a rule is then the higher precedence it has; unfortunately that would prevent mass-overrides (eg. via setting the properties on <body>) from being overridden.

Please note, if you specify font styles at the bottom of your global-css file, that overrides the other font styles. So if you know which font styles you want changed, just place them at the bottom of your global-css file.
