1. A description of modules and what they do on the "Permissions Tree Editor", "Specific-permissions" and "Addons" pages. Right now, you just kinda have to know what they are. Maybe a hover tip with a brief description to save real estate. 2. Classified ads - categories, pictures, featured/premium ads, user administrated, expiration date, etc. A good example can be found here. I talked to the site admin, he wrote the classified ads himself. That's about it though. All in all, a pretty complete package. |

2- we actually have much of that. With catalogues you can define which fields you want, and style as required. You can edit a catalogue category and set an expiration on it, and where entries are moved off to (which is like an archive/trash category). You can have tiered listing-time lengths (so you can even have a usergroup subscription to a usergroup on the higher listing tier). Featured/premium ads would be nice; I think we were once considering the idea of allowing any content type to have support for things being 'pinned', but we dropped the idea as it was making things a bit complex. But you could add award(s) for catalogue entries and then have an admin manually assign these awards. You could show them on the front page or embed them into the category templates. If I answered something that you think should be in the documentation, please take the initiative and add it to the community documentation. We really need people to help out here and build a well-organised large support resource. |

Catalogs hadn't occurred to me. I'll work with that approach. Thanks for the immediate attention! |
